B to B Ad Spending on the Upswing

B-To-B Ad Spending Continues To Recover

Business-to-business advertising figures for October, released on Friday by American Business Media, show a positive trend in the rate of decline in year-to-date b-to-b ad pages and spending. Overall, ad dollars were down 9% compared to October of last year, while pages were down 10.6%. Year-to-date spending decreased by 16.7% and pages by 16.9%.

Tracy Dolgin, president of Fox Sports Net, is pioneering the use of what he calls immersion to bring content and advertising closer together. Dolgin says that the Best Damn Sports Show�s format provides ample opportunities for product immersion, from a KFC wings-eating contest between two of the hosts to a demonstration of Dockers stainproof pants.
