Heidi Klum Ad Campaign Makes People So Horny They Steal The Ads

A Heidi Klum outdoor ad campaign has been so successful that every time a poster goes up, some fan tears it down. The campaign, for H&M, features Klum in sexy bikini poses. In order to keep the ad campaign up, H&M is promising to give anyone who wants one, a free poster of Klum. Anything to keep the campaign up and running, I guess. [via Ananova]

The Reason Most Americans Are Fat

Oh sure, we should all be responsible for our own weight management but it's hard when we are bombarded with food offerings that amount to Catherine Zeta Jones serving sizes. McDonalds', the Supersize folks now have an even bigger supersize called the XBoz size. They've partnered with Microsoft to offer these new sizes that are designed for the "quantity over quality" demographic.

Quantity over quality is dead on when it comes to McDonald's and is further indication that corporate America doesn't give a shit about what they have to do to make money.

These new french fry and soft drink sizes (64oz. I think) are so big that they need titanium struts in the packaging to hold them up. Titanium!

So there you have it. The next disgusting offering from the company that will go down in Anthropology as the primary reason for average weight of an American reaching 300 pounds by 2050. Just wait, there will certainly be another "you made me fat, because I have no control over what I put in my mouth" lawsuit. But this time, it will be called the "Microsoft made me Zeta Jones myself to 500 pounds" lawsuit. [via bbspot (whatever that is)]

Like Cats? Now There's A TV Show Just For You

The Meox Mix Company along with Lime Public Relations is producing a television show called "Meow TV". The program will run on the Oxygen network and will, of course, be full of Meow Nix commercials.

I suppose this falls into the advertainment category since, in reality, the whole show is a Meow Mix commercial that just happens to have some sort of entertainment value because it stars a cat and a comedian.

Here's some lofty brand-speak from Richard Thompson, chief executive of something over at MeowMix. "As the largest brand of dry cat food in America, Meow Mix's mission is keeping cats, and their owners, happy," he said. "Everything is developed from within the brand, what the brand stands for."

Right. Thanks to Reverse Cowgirl. [via New York Times]
