After a lashing by Jon Stewart, leaving CNN's Crossfire and finding a new job on MSNBC's The Situation with Tucker Carlson," the promotional staff behind Carlson's new show decide to go for inside humor by promoting the show on Stewart's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

This is really publicity, not advertising. For the price of a short run spot on the Daily Show, Tucker Carlson is going to provoke a lot of scorn with liberal bloggers (possibly starting when they here us advertising bloggers talk about this commercial) which will in turn cause conservative bloggers to rally to his support which will in turn mobilize his base and get the people he is really looking for to watch his show. If we play along, that is.
