It's 50 pounds, not 5.

Are you sure it was a failed show? The cynic in me says it was a calculated way to create an income stream and keep her name in the fore during a transitional period. Seen that way, she gets to endorse a diet service/product and have it be already hyped from previous work, versus resurrecting her name like the answer to a trivia question (e.g. Fergie).

Or maybe I am just cynical.

She'll put it all back on again and will be pitching for Mars bars and McDonald's soon enough. She's a trough-monster and no mistake.

"It's 50 pounds, not 5."

Don't worry - since 98% of diets fail, including Jenny Craig, it'll be 5 soon enough.

Leave the woman alone for chrissake. She's damned if she does, she's damned if she doesn't.
