Parker Posey and Jimmy Fallon Shooting Pepsi Commercial

sq_parker_posy_050318.jpg

Jossip gossipist David Hauslaib informs us Parker Posey and Jimmy Fallon were spotted, Saturday afternoon, filming a Pepsi commercial in New York City. One of our informants tells us, "Jimmy Fallon was jumping around, dancing with a Pepsi can, jumping up and down, flailing his arms around, kinda being stupid. Parker was just standing across the street from him. Jimmy was wearing junkie t-shirt and shitty looking sweatpant khakis."

I guess at $4 a gallon all Posey's indi cred can't fill up the gas tank anymore.

Ah, Parker Posey - the woman that had some of the best lines in Dazed and Confused and made being a librarian hip ... now doing Pepsi commercials.

I feel a depth of sadness that makes me have to burn by Party Girl CD.

Was visiting the City and happened upon this commercial being filmed in the village and thoroughly enjoyed watching the goings on. Kinda neat to just walk up on it and hang out in a bar with a pitcher of beer with my son and just chill.

Posted by: jerry smith on September 11, 2005 06:02 PM

Yeah, I also happened to be there that day. Just ended up there as I was walking around in the Village. I also thought it was fun watching them work. Wish I could have sticked around a little longer to see more though.

Posted by: Lena on October 22, 2005 10:49 AM

Posted by: Heather on February 1, 2006 08:31 AM

I believe the artist is Newton and the song is called Streamline. It seems hard to find online. I did a google search and found a few sites that had it listed, but mostly in other languages.

Posted by: Tim on February 10, 2006 09:47 AM

yep the song is streamline by newton and the most i have gotten so far is a 1:29 sample... yep

FOUND OUT WHAT THE SONG ON THE COMMERCIAL IS!!! The song is called Streamline by Newton. I recently heard this song on a spanish compilation from 1995, and recognized it instantly once i saw the commercial.

Posted by: Marco on February 11, 2006 09:55 PM

Yeah, very hard, pretty much your best bet to get that song is to go to Spain and buy the techno album from 1995 called Lo + Duro 4 to get it

Stop fucking grobbling, its driving me nuts. the song is NOT hard to get a hold of, I just downloaded this from LIMEWIRE in about 4 minutes!!! GOD!

Posted by: Dozer on February 20, 2006 02:32 AM

the legal way not with limewire

Posted by: FABIO E on February 20, 2006 09:42 AM

Yeah Limewire is for criminals.

Posted by: Kris on February 21, 2006 09:55 PM

damn life must suck to NOT be a criminal. all that bitching about not being able to find the song when all it would take is less than 3 minutes on limewire, bitcomet, anything! don't bitch if you aren't willing to find it - and by the way, the .zip version of the song that was posted is ILLEGAL too - yet how many of you downloaded it? thank you.

Posted by: m on February 24, 2006 08:45 PM

this song kicks butt

Posted by: croaker on March 3, 2006 09:48 AM

try it on limewire that were i find it

Posted by: tiguy1 on March 3, 2006 10:06 PM

Well limewire is illegal along with all the other online media.... for the most part but i do prefer online downloading not with p2p software. Occasionally you'll get spyware and viruses with P2P software.. the commercial still kicks ass though

Posted by: FABIO E on March 3, 2006 10:23 PM

What the hell, you can watch pepsi commercials online, but the jimmy fallon ad isn't on pepsi.com or pepsi.ca. And by the way who gives a shit if filesharing through P2P is illegal, half the stuff that goes through someones head in a day, if it all came out we'd all be criminals.

Posted by: Sean on March 5, 2006 05:52 PM

does anybody know the song name from the new budweiser commercials? it says something like, "don't hold back"

Posted by: bryan on March 6, 2006 08:58 AM

lol u poor americains its realy Illegal for u to download there that must blow

Posted by: kobis on March 6, 2006 09:02 PM

agreed. In Canada it is not illegal for us to download music. By the way, why do you really care if million dollar corporations get another $1 for a song they didnt write. If you guys were so effing concerned you would send your money directly to the artist. Seeing as you're not,eat it.

Posted by: Canada is Great on March 8, 2006 09:25 PM

Yup he has it right. Canada hasn't passed legislation yet to make dloading your favorite copyrighted crap to your hd illegal. Meanwhile you bitch and complain about your inability to do no wrong but im pretty sure you've never fully stopped at a stop sign, spread lies (slander), and done any illegal substances now and again... BUT FILE SHARING?!?! OH MY FLIPPIN GOD, all of a sudden you are the patron saint of the ISPs come to spread the gospil of iTunes. Whoever introduced that topic needs to be gagged and bound to a chair somewhere in a third world country, where they shoot first and ask questions later.... then we will talk about downloading illegally and how much it really matters in society =D. So for those of you who cant figure out what song this is... I suggest reading the "how to read a forum for dummies" you can pick it up at your local library... if by any chance you know what a library is... i think about 10 people have told you what song it is and you still run around here asking the same question looking like a bunch of retards trying to hump a door knob. Cummon people... straighten it up. As for a mexican compilation disc/tape... just no. As for me limewire is as close to mexico as i want to get for my music needs =D! THANKS FOR BEING DOUCHE BAGS, it gives me great joy to point out and write about the imperfections in modern human life =)

Posted by: Drew on March 9, 2006 01:35 AM

P.S. Thanks dozer for the common sense! I just downloaded this song via torrent and couldnt be any happier with my dollar still in MY pocket! =D

Posted by: Drew on March 9, 2006 01:41 AM

For your edification, uploading in Canada is not illegal either. Hahaha. Go Canada.

Love your post Drew. LOL.

Posted by: Iona on March 9, 2006 01:49 AM

i found the song..if you have limewire you can download it

Posted by: johnny on March 9, 2006 01:15 PM

Thanks Iona=)... I do it to entertain people such as yourself! =) keep on... rockin =\... in the free world!

Posted by: Drew on March 9, 2006 02:57 PM

For the person who found it in zip format.....you are the man!!!!

Posted by: Jake on March 10, 2006 01:02 AM

If you have downloaded the song listed above report yourself immediately to www.targetillegaldownloads.com. You must purchase the Mexican format of set song to legally enjoy it. Thank you.

Seriously, this is directed to Police, you can go to hell. I can download w/e I want to, and you can't stop me, how about you go report yourself for being a stupid dumshit, and maybe go kill yourself in the process. We don't need your shit around here, music is made for a reason to LISTEN to, if you can't handle people downloading/P2P then leave now, because it WILL BE AROUND FOREVER, and you will never stop people sharing/downloading. And seriously ONLY UPLOADING IS ILLEGAL NOT DOWNLOADING AS MUCH, well I live in Canada, so suck my balls.

Posted by: Policecansuckanut on March 28, 2006 04:27 PM

While I'm all for file-sharing, Policecansuckanut, if your job was to make cars and you just put them in a huge parking lot for people to take whenever they wanted, how long do you think you could continue to make cars before you and everyone else in the company lost their job and became homeless? It's just an analogous thougt.

Sometimes I wonder how stupid some people really are.....The same answer has been given repeatedly on here regarding the Pepsi song, do you people not read before postiing your response? Everyone knows where to find it...NOW anyway. One person asked how to find it and then 100 people responded with the same answer....Just read the other responses before submitting your own!!!!

BTW - No one actually answered the question on how to get the song as a ringtone, yes it can be downloaded from Limewire, or any other music site for that matter, but no one was able to explain how to get in on your phone!!!!!

Posted by: Kelly on May 25, 2006 10:41 PM

Well there is some software outthere to convert mp3 to rebular formats dependin on the phone ringtone poly/mono. But ya lol it seems like no1 reads before asking

Posted by: Fabio on May 25, 2006 10:43 PM

why won't anyone just explain exactly how to get the song streamline as a ringtone on on the phone!

Posted by: Dans on June 4, 2006 10:07 AM

omg just read all of the responses...haha sucks to be american...up here in canada it is absoplutly not illegal to dload songs off of limewire. if you want to burn CD's then a percentage of the cost of Cd's goes to artists, so tehy r still egtting paid and not getting ripped off...so hahaha to all americans and canada really is better!
