eBay Delivers It

it_ebay.jpg

BBDO has created and outstanding campaign for eBay called What is it. The campaign tells the story of two guys who invent "it" and how it became the world's most famous, hippest thing to own. Of course, the message in all of this is that "what ever it is, you can get it on ebay." Really brilliant. Really. Check it out.

Maybe I'm just thick, but I don't get "it" - this caused more confusion for me than anything else.

this campaign sucks. it's just another big production from bbdo. they should have stuck with goodby. the guys who really knew the soul of the brand.

I LOVE this campaign!! I thought it was one of the most clever campaigns I had seen in a long time. The purpose of "it" is that "it" can be anything. "It" is not a defined thing, because how can you define one particular item off ebay and make it appealing to everyone? I guess for you to love this campaign, you can't read into "it" all that much.
