McCann Hires Jesus And Fidel Castro For Agency Campaign

Advertising Goodness calls our attention to a couple self-promotional ads that McCann-Eriskson created. With imagery that features well known icons, the ads, very simply, make a powerful and convincing statement. We like.

Someone please alert Dave Barry... Jesus and the Logo People is a great name for a rock band.

Great ad.
Unfortunately, with the McCann Erickson logo, the ad is
corrupt fantasy and as believable as an advertisement
for penis enlargment.
Here's the reality. Reverse the visuals.
The McCann people are desperately trying to convince Castro to give up the cigar & embrace the lollipop.
Show the agency eagerly pointing out to Christ the advantages of the circle over the cross.
That's McCann.
