TheCW Execs Forgot to Check URL Availability Before Naming New Company

upn_wb.jpg

In the minds of television execs, it seems the little 'ol Internet still gets the shaft from the corner office as indicated by UPN and The WB neglecting to secure a viable URL for their new network, The CW. As Lost Remote points out, TheCW.com is not available nor is any other remotely close URL other than theonlinethecw.biz which we're sure they're not going to like. Looks like TheCW is going to be out a pretty penny buying domains from squatters, settle on a domain name that makes no sense or rename the company.

What about www.cwtv.com, or www.cwnetwork.com?

Cheers!

I maybe wrong, but seems I heard somewhere General Electric owns CBS, who owns I think UPN. Warner Bro being the owner of WB.
thus the name CW.
cwnetwork.com is registered to General Electric.

"...indicated by UPN and The WB neglecting to secure a viable URL for their new network, The CW."...
maybe completely wrong.

Could also be I am totally wrong.

I'd like to request that the CW network re-think its decision to only bring back the REBA show from the WB as a mid-season replacement. As an educator, it always impressed me as an hilarious, family-oriented comedy especially since it aired on Friday evenings. While I appreciate all sports, I don't think any viewer requires a three hour block of wrestling at any given time. I'm sure that an exception can be made, and perhaps REBA could air at 8 instead of its previous time at 9. I thank you for your kind attention to this matter, and I believe that a five-year run of a family sitcom should not be overlooked as a mid-season replacement. I'm sure that you've had letters about this, and will continue to receive comments.

cw sucks! nothing good comes on anymore. I belive, as well as many others, belive that what the network did was unfair, moving all the black shows to the weekend and bascially letting these worn out washed up re runs take the week! i think the network should reconsider the way shows are set up and re evaluate who was watching upn first and whos watching now! i kno the network lost alot of ppl and u might have replaced them with the ones from the wbbut if u think about it u bascially eliminated upn (a whole network) so wuts the point of my tv 12 its showing thte same shit as the cw! just think about it or fire someone for the idea of changing networks. Oh by the way ccw sucks! And I'm not going to say i think y'all are dummies i kno y'all are dummbies!
if u want to hit me up with some sort of reply maybe to ease my understanding or even if u care hit me up on my e-mail jammer_warmheart@yahoo.com

Dear CW,

Im writing regarding the cancellation of one of your shows REBA. I truely thing your making a big mistake!!!!! This show is one of your highest rated shows. Me and my family have been watching your channel for abour 6 months and know your giving us no other choice but to change. I have two school age boys and all of their friends watch REBA. I guess you dont care if your stations ratings drop!!!!! Cause your losing a hole lot of viewers!!!!!!!!
