Memphis Thunderstorm FAA Video Makes Perfect FedEx Commercial

fedx_memphis_thunder.jpg

John Brock sent us this video someone made of FedEx planes making their way around thunder clouds as they, and the thunderstorm, head into Memphis. It's hilarious, really, but amazing as well to think that activity is just every day normal life to plane pilots and airport flight control staff. Brock thinks FedEx should turn this into a commercial. We couldn't agree more.

That video is sweet. somehow i get the feeling FedEx will miss the opportunity just like they missed the op to capitalize on the kid who made his furniture out of FedEx boxes.

How is it a missed opportunity? It's making the rounds for free, by people like us. Why spend a dime on it? It'd ruin the beauty of it, and only make people question it's authenticity. It's so much more interesting like this.

Cool except for the people whose packages went to Texas. Snark aside, I liked it.

Not a great commercial if you want people to move to Memphis and work for your company. I used to live under that storm flightpath. Storms aren't fun overnight in Midtown and East Memphis, y'all!

I found I had to watch this video over and over, it was so much fun to watch! Great music too.
