Comic Sheldon explains the real reason why Chrysler ended up with its less thatn loved ad campiagn featuring that weird dude, Dr. Z. It has something to do with a drunk circus monkey .

The 'Dr. Z' ads don't seem too bad to me, but that's because they triggered my memory of the very dry Lee Iacocca(sp?) ads from the 1970's when I was a kid. They were "pep-talks" about how Chrysler has recovered (from near bankruptcy) and the Dodge Omni,Plymouth Horizon and the K-cars are wonderful, useful, utilitarian, efficient cars of the future. (Ha-Ha) Remember those?
