BobCars Attack Advertising Week

bobcar_better.jpg

Advertising Week has to begin somewhere and why not with strange looking tiny "BobCars" that carry messaging. Sort of like a mobile billboard, BobCars, owned, we're told, by Snap Marketing, are being used to hand out postcards with questions on them which they can answer online to win two free weeks of advertising on a BobCar. It's an Adholes thingy.

Great and fun idea. Smart way to reach consumers.

Reminds me of my grand-kids cat, Bob. Every now and then we see strange things like this around Omaha and they seem to always work. We live in a strange world.

its actually illegal in Manhattan to operate a motor vehicle strictly for advertising purposes. our agency was involved in a lawsuit after a vendor was ticketed and as a result refused to fulfil their contract, or refund payment. they solicited us for the buy, so we assumed they were operating legally, the judge saw otherwise. bastard.
