Humorless Animal Activists Freak Out Over Man on Dog Commercial

man_on_dog.jpg

Adrants reader Roy Coffman sends us this little bit over reactive buffoonery regarding a man, a dog and humorless animal activists. In the UK, Kellogg's is running an ad that shows a man riding home from work on top of an Irish Wolfhound. We've seen the ad and think it's funny. Apparently, at least 100 people don't and have complained to the Advertising Standards Authority. For some reason, even though it's quite obvious the pairing of the man and dog are computer generated, the complainers think the ad is cruel and that there's going to be a trend of kids hopping on dogs copying this commercial. OK, everyone. Take a deep breathe. Let it out. There. Is all your freakishly obsessive, humorless behavior gone now? If not, repeat until it is or just shut up and let the rest of us enjoy this commercial.

And we all know that Guinness are responsible for an epidemic of horses vs surfers races. All those poor drowned gee gees.

I have a friend who will love this one. He owns an Irish Wolfhound mix (with an elephant or some other monster) that his kids likely have ridden. Me I kind of enjoyed the commercial.

So-called animal lovers are the biggest Nazis.
PETA is a prime example. How about a People for the Ethical Treatment of Humans?

Oy. I have an Irish Wolfhound of my own. I double-dog dare anyone to try to get him to do anything he doesn't actually want to. I'm reeeaaaalllly not worried that this is gonna spark the neighborhood kiddies to try any climb aboard.

Easily the most idiotic thing anyone's ever posted on this site. Kudos, my man! Would that be Sunil Godwin, by chance?

No doubt I will rececive sh*t for saying this but... why say no to animal testing when it can prevent a person from being disabled?
Would you rather have some kid mentally disabled for the rest of his life with his health deteriorating rapidly or have 5 monkeys killed to help this kid??? Of course animal activists would rather save the monkeys. please. Idiots. You will also find that most these so called activists are just a bunch of angry working class people with no excitement in their lives!
