Malcolm Gladwell's Big Hair Stars In Canadian Charity Ad

malcom_gladwell.gif

As Gawker posits after viewing this Harry Rosen ad featuring Malcolm Gladwell, apparently Canada has a very different perception of what celebrity is not to mention hairstyle. But it's all OK because it's for charity: the Toronto General Hospital Multi-Organ Transplant Program. Maybe there's a hair transplant joke here somewhere but we can't seem to find it.

I don't understand the 'different definition of celebrity' comment. Does a celebrity have to be devoid of talent but have an abundance of 'glamour'? I cant think of a better celebrity than Gladwell. He makes us all think and reconsider why things happen and what makes them happen in the first place. I’ll take this kind of celebrity over Paris and Blowhan any day.
