ValueClick Media Makes Major Announcement With Cheesy Video

yovanno.jpg

Our friend Snake Oil Guy has a problem with ValueClick Media General Manager David Yovanno's recent announcement video for the company's video offering for publishers wondering why Yovanno:

1. Can't put on a tie for a major rollout announcement?
2. Can't afford a lavaliere mike?
3. Can't shoot in a room with no echo?
4. Can't speak slower?
5. Can't find a decent backdrop?

Indeed, it seems Yovanno spewed this out between checking his morning email and making his first sales call for the day.

Isnít Fastclick, the world leader in deceptive popup and popunders part of Valueclick?
Am I wrong? Didnít they bring us such classics as Punch The Monkey, and Your Registry Problem messages and your System is Slow? Found this in search: Valueclick is actually using JonBenet Ramsey's death to promote a site that "offers a free $500 gift card". Is this a multilegged crawling creature or am I all wrong.
If the bar is set so low why expect a professional video?

Peep Orion tonight around 9ish! Orion, the hunter, is in good view in the east by 9 p.m. Look for the line of three bright stars that marks Orion's Belt standing almost straight up from the horizon. I'll be Bright Orange tonightand am to the Belt's left, with blue Rigel the same distance to its right.

He should've used a presentation service like Brainshark or Breeze... make your point without us having to look at you!
