Boston Now Butt of All Guerrilla Marketing Jokes

flyme_suitcase_ads.jpg

Adland chides Boston in a story about budget airline FlyMe which has taken to advertising on suitcases in Miami as a means of delivering its message, writing, "My first thought was, good thing this isn't Boston, since that'll probably bring up another bomb scare." Too true.

You got that right. It took Bostonians 3 weeks to notice the things and about 5 minutes to shit their pants. As IF a terrorist is going to advertise where they place an IED with flashing lights!
May I also nominate the Orlando Police Dept. for taking what was obviously a case of a tryst gone wrong and trying to pump it up to first degree attempted murder? Even Jack McCoy would balk! 'Subject had a gun...a BB gun...with no CO2 cartridge. We're having ballistics try and match the BB now'.
Fortunately, the judge saw through it and even reduced Ms. Nowaks bail. The D.A. would have better luck if she based her case on the fact that ms. Nowaks maiden name was 'Caputo'. Thus, she could have claimed that her name was Lisa 'No-Whacks' Caputo, famous Jersey hit woman (who misses a lot).
