Agency.com's Tom Ajello Has Rolled On to Fatherhood

We could get all snarky and snide and bring up that Subway video but we're not going to. We're going to wish Agency.com ECD Tom Ajello well as he leaves the agency following the mass exodus of many of the agency's executives. Tom, currently on paternity leave enjoying the birth of his first son, has decided, "It was sort of time. I feel like I've had an amazing run, building as awesome crew there and amassing what I believe is the industry's best creative department." He will leave the agency April 15 but has promised to stay on, if needed, to help transition in a new ECD.

Having a kid changes things. Hugely. We wish Tom well.

Kid shmid. He's really leaving because he failed to turn around a company that was losing money for years. He restructured the creative department into a total mess, and a slew of top creatives quit as a direct result. Says one insider about Agency.com, "It's a sinking ship. Those who haven't already bailed will be out soon."

This guy's a real boob! He is single handedly responsible for ruining the whole NY office of Agency.com. The employee turn over was more than 70% last year due to baneful culture this guy promoted there. Kicking him out is the best thing masters at agency.com could have done! Who's the next victim Tom?

"It wasn't enough time, place is still standing. I had amazing time, building a crew of my pupets there and creating what I believe is industry's worst working environment"

Sibel, you don't know what you are talking about. No one kicked Tom out.
There is a mass exodus at Agency.com thanks to the CEO.

Brian - FYI I still work at agency.com and I think I know more than you do. It's given that CEO is a hack but Mr. Ajjello here was a icing on the top.

The real story is the mass exodus of executives, talent & client losses over the past year - across the whole company.
