Even Diseases Do MySpace

ms_society.jpg

We recently learned that March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. MS impacts over 2.5 people worldwide, and to assist sufferers the National MS Society started the Join the Movement campaign.

We wonder who gets to dole months out to interested parties because it seems like there are more Awareness Months than actual months.

Before we forget why we started writing about this in the first place, hit the MS MySpace to make other movement friends and watch sad videos.

MYSPACE is actually RACIST?
MySpace News: They Shut Us Down For Being To Pro-Black
03.24.07
source: Race & Politics

It is very much so possible that the same networking site that we have grown to love (MYSPACE) is actually RACIST! Our music profile which came off very powerful in numbers has been deleted due to the impact and threat of our Black Out Movement being just as powerful as MySpace. "Our profile which boasted 35,000+ views, 10,000+ music plays, and 4,600+ friends (all in less than a 7 month period) was something I actually took pride in. I was logged in and the next minute i was banned (deleted)?. It makes no sense to me because all our website and movement has done for the last past 1 year was promote MySpace and it's members," Frank Black (the founder and designer of the blackmafiya profile) was quoted as saying.....

The very realistic website and profile touched on many political issues and blasted Paris Hilton for her Racist remarks often. They say they first felt this about to happen when they kept noticing that they (the MySpace staff) kept deleting pictures of Paris "Racist" Hilton in there blogs.

When we tried to reach them for further confirmation, our emails went without response for a while and then they returned with a very direct blow, saying that our profile (despite our program to invest into youth from low income situations) was to PRO-BLACK!?
