Palmolive Pushes Sudsy Soap on Dish with Doris

palmolive_doris.jpg

Like shame, camp is one of those marketing tactics that never dies. Dish with Doris, an interactive microsite promotion for Palmolive's Scrub Buster, pushes the latter to its limits.

Appliances in Doris' kitchen afford users multiple opportunities to play with the little old woman. Lest you search in vain for yet another film-making opportunity, hit the fridge.

LOL, Jib Jab with a little old lady ... and you can even have her call you. This is actually a little creepy but kinda cool as well. I can't decide which one, but at least I am entertained!!! And that's not something you can say everyday about dirty dishes.

This is, so far the worst piece of online crap I've ever seen. I thought I would have some wacky fun and watch Doris parachute out of a plane WHILE HOLDING A BOTTLE OF THE PRODUCT IN HER HAND.

Listen up clients: YOU may love the branding going on here but please do not hold this up to your agency as an example of good online branding and content. It's insulting and stupid.

This is REAL fun.
The brand will only grow and get better form this kind of playful approach t owhat is afterall a very boring task.
And as for the person who got so insulted...i suggest he / she join in wityh the rest of the human race and lighten up.
this is about selling product and entertainment in equal measure
I'm sure this campaign will do both
Well done - whoever.....
