how where these "viral" awards decided, cos the only fair way is to track ALL views...cos this lot is advertising exec friendly, but not as well viewed as some other pieces that hardly got a mention (like the dove on though)

At Cannes, all that matters, rightly or wrongly, is creativity. They don't care at all about whether the ads actually worked.

Well, with the Heidies we generated over 400.000 visits to diesel.com in 5 days, starting the promotion, via word of mouth, only when the action went live.

Maybe we did not get the numbers other viral projects received, but if you consider the time frame and the global PR buzz we created, I think we definitely deserved the award. And please don't tell me the project was not creative :-)

heidies is really creative, like subserviant chicken, and the axe girls, or infact any project which is based on the same dull, and tired idea of interacting with a flash script...well done martina, pat yourself on the back for that striking piece of creative!
