Facebook Rates, Alan Pottash Dies, Butts Covered, Heads Circumsized

no_butts_toto.jpg

- If you care, Facebook's heretofore "non-existent" ad rates have been leaked.

- Pepsi's Alan Pottash, the man behind many successful campiagns such as Pepsi Generation, Pepsi Challenge and all those celbu-commercials, died July 27 in LA at the age of 79.

- Toto's Times Square bare asses have been covered - quite creatively - following complaints from Reverend Neil Rhodes of the Times Square Church.

- This is what happens when an ad agency with just ten people and three accounts has too much time on their hands.

I really hope facebook doesn't turn into myspace. It's so clean right now. Also, I didn't notice anything about corporate applications. If apps. remain free then that would be a great opportunity for a low cost.

Steve...
Multiple comments for a multiple post.
FACEBOOK... If it ever turns into MySpace, I will kill the Wizened of Oz.
PEPSI DEAD GUY... I always love it when they talk about the client being responsible for great work... Yeah, all they do is sign off on it, but they usually kill it.
TOTO... Just posted about it on AdSCam... Lots of arse, but where's the tits?
STUPID VIDEO... Is this the Thailand office of CP+B? If so, where the fuck is "Zombie Chicken?"
Cheers/George

There is a link for advertisers at the bottom of the home page (www.facebook.com).

More likely the person being asked for a rate card was struggling to find a way to say our rates are not for your eyes and was struggling to find a way to say, yes, we have a rate

Of course, the post may well have was a tongue in cheek post escaped me is a strong possibility. ;P

Facebook is so clean compared to myspace. I really hope they don't make it look the same.

Solid comment from George Parker to offer his earth shattering insights of Alan Pottash by lumping him with a group of people that have obviously scarred George not to mention provided him an opportunity to have a career. Classy and a bit egotistical all @ the same time. Oh so eloquent for an award winning writer!

Just had to get it off my chest,
