KFC Makes Hunger Strike Game, and That's All We Can Say About It

kfc_hunger_strike.png

We're a little confused about this new game, dubbed Hunger Strike, for KFC. At first we thought it was like Pac-Man, but there don't appear to be any enemies to either run from or eat. Then we thought maybe it might be more esoteric, like this game, but no; the graphics don't really do anything, and the music is frozen in a hellish loop.

We just know we keep losing, and we don't understand why, so now we feel resentful toward chicken.

Erm... two options: 1. Read the instructions; 2. Click on the highlighted tubs on the right which you buy for the credits you start with and place them in the colourful areas surrounding the playing field. It's not rocket science, it's just a new version of Tower Defense :-)

I'm amazed they sold this game in. It is really obscure but addicting to a select few. There have been many variations of iton the web... and it's funny to see KFC create a game with pangs and rumbles as the enemy. If you play it long enough, "death" is the mini boss! Only in the UK.

Another variation of the game can be found here: Hand Drawn Games - Tower Defense.

This was made by BBH. Their trying to make in roads to be digital but have been failing miserably. I cant believe KFC have gone with this game, i bet the budget was ludicrous too.

Interesting comments - how would you measure success? and what do you mean by ludicrous?
