Zune Goes Silent, Stays Pretty, Over Times Square

The Zune is getting mighty sexy ad-wise. (Not like Microsoft hasn't got the blow to cash -- er, the cash to blow.)

The brand enlisted TAG, SF to build a silent spot for the 20-foot GeoffreyTron billboard in Times Square. The final product, Zune Tron, made use of work by Stardust, whose job it was to enliven the spot without use of actual sound. That's a tall order considering the product is an MP3 player, but it turned out damn pretty. It must have been gorgeous in person.

Who care what it looks like - no one will be buying it.

Well, I don't really know much about the Zune, since I've never used one, don't really intend to use or purchase one. I am an avid gadget-junkie, too. But, this ad sure didn't convince me to change my position on either point toward the Zune.

What it did convince me of is this:

The problem of natural world invasive specie introduction is greatly misunderstood.

So much so, that little jerks, in mindless urban corners of greed-creation (aka, advertising), think it's funny to mindlessly promote it. All wrapped in cute little mindless crapinators, this ignorance is pumped through the media, so greed-mongers can sell the equally mindless junk, nobody wants or needs.

It is not a laughing matter. If you think so, consider how long anyone will be laughing if there was nothing to eat... "?" It is that big of a problem.

This isn't even considering the potential hazards of the effects of GM tampering; of which this little dittied crapination also made light. No, this isn't talking about cars, trucks or other greed-mongering from Detroit. It's far more genetic -and hazardous- than that!
