MySpace Launches Safety PSA

You can debut all the privacy controls you want, but there's nothing like a generic safety PSA to show the feds you mean business.

See "Don't Stop the Dialogue," produced by Big Fuel for MySpace. It will run on iKeepSafe.org and MySpace Safety along with featured safety tips and a soothing message from CSO Hemanshu Nigam.

Chill effect much?

ikeepsafe as a mechanism to stop "kids gone wild" on myspace? Come on. For anyone who has a kid, you don't know half of what is going on, and myspace does nothing to stop it. Trust me I went through an episode with my kid this week. What I saw from 12 year old kids pretending to by 25 was mind blowing. Myspace and kids gone wild has got to end.

I think David and Nancy both have very good points. When my seven year old twin grandsons can type in "Girls" and come up with porno all of us need to get excited and involved "right now." Pay attention to what your kids are doing!
