Customizable M&Ms Come Off Kinda Creepy

yellow-orb-man.jpg

imc2 made a site where you can put your likeness on M&Ms. I've always wanted to eat my own face off, so I clicked through to The Candy Lab with premature glee.

What I saw were my old buddies, the Red and Yellow M&Ms, wearing zoned-out, slightly stoned expressions. Between them sat a giant M&M into which they trapped the head of a jovial black dude.

Use the buttons on the right to get The Head to sing you I Want Candy or She Blinded Me with Science.

The technology that enables you to put your own face inside the orb isn't nearly as neat as the intro. One of my eyeballs kept slipping out of sync and half my head was torn off. Worst of all, to get personalized M&Ms, you have to repeat the uploading process on a separate interface -- and you don't get to see a sample of the work.

Such a bummer.

When last imc2 made us go "Meh," it was for Pizza Hut.

I tried this with my photo and it looks GREAT!

I had so much fun with it and I've been emailing it back and forth with my friends.

Here's one I made with George Dubbya...hilarious!

It worked fine for me--and it did pass my photo over to the the M&M's site when I went to order. Now I've got "She Blinded Me with Science" stuck in my head. Can't wait to see how my face looks on M&M's!
