American Apparel has teamed with fashion blog social network Chictopia to feature the site's member's in a new advertising campaign. The campaigns will run on Chictopia's website as well as the member's individual fashion blogs. Does this mean that the models of Chictopia are moving up from blog models to soft porn models?

Something's gotta' be wrong here. They're actually wearing the clothes and there's nothing vaguely pornographic about the models. I think it's a fake.

I think it's a great idea. It reminds me of what Myspace did for musicians and Youtube did for aspiring filmmakers.

This is really cool. Thinking they should also do the same with Lookbook.nu. One of my favorite new sites.

I also want an advertiser to buy space on MySpace Music homepage and start using it to promote cool indie bands that are trying to grow a fan base in the network- pimp out their brand profile page. No longer just about giving swag to consumers. Give them the huge stage and attention of your online ad space.

oops typo: *band* profile page (not brand page).
