Microsoft is out with a couple new ads for Bing. The ads parody movie classics such as Easy Rider and Thelma and Louise. The ads illustrate how each movie's outcome might have changed had the characters had access to Bing.
Alas, revisionist history is just that. And in a world organized and categorized by Google, it's unlikely Bing will amount to anything more than Apple's eWorld did back in the days when AOL ruled the world.
So when Obama Girl aka Amber Lee Ettinger was all the rage, she was kind enough to send us a personalized message telling us how much she loves Adrants and why everyone should read it if they're interested in advertising.
We wrote about her and her work for Barely Political a lot. And we mean a lot. So we were very pleased to have that thank you message arrive.
Perhaps we haven't yet written enough about Isiah Mustafa and his work for Old Spice to warrant one of his personalized videos now making the rounds. He's done one for Kevin Rose over at Digg, friend with similar interests Susannah Breslin, Gizmodo, Ashton Kutcher, Peter Shankman and several others.
The Hills alum, Audrina Patridge, following her stint pimping the Carl's Jr. Teriyaki burger while spilling out of a gold bikini, is now the new face of Bongo Jeans. Following Vanessa Minnello, Nicole Richie, the Laguna Beach cast, Kim Kardasian, Rachel Bilson and Kristin Cavallari, Patrige will lend her bootyliciousness the the brand's Fall print campaign.
Of the campaign, which was shot by Tony Duran, Patrige said, "Generations of women, including my mom and sisters, have loved this iconic brand. And it's exciting to be a part of something that is so classically cool, American."
Seattle-based agency Creature has launched a new campaign called Citywise for the City University of Seattle. The campaign touts the school's philosophy which is said to encompass a "unique blend of experiences, both in and out of the classroom." "Game theory: when you decide to walk to the next bus stop rather than wait."
"The water you're about to cross powers this city's buses"
"Education comes from all angles. Be Citywise."
"Where you sit on the bus says something about your personality."
"Reading is the most velocious way to ameliorate your vocabulary."
"Those napping on this bus are enhancing mental performance."
