FOX Says No to Ashley Madison Super Bowl Ad

Seriously? Is Ashley Madison actually surprised FOX rejected its proposed Super Bowl commercial? Are we actually surprised that, of course, they knew it would be rejected and that this yawner is yet another "banned ad" publicity ploy? Of course not. But that doesn't mean we can't share this ridiculousness with you. After all, the ad does feature a porn star.

For the uninitiated, Ashley Madison is a dating site of sorts which advocates people having affairs. That fact alone would be plenty of cause or the ad to be rejected. After all, the Super Bowl has turned into the most conservative television broadcast in recent history.

Confirming the obvious, Ashley Madison's CEO Noel Biderman says he believes the network rejected the ad because it features an adult film star, Savanna Samson, despite the fact she's done mainstream TV along with other adult stars like Jenna Jameson and Sasha Grey.

OK and what's with the giant rodent in the conference room? A bestiality reference? And the rabbit suit? All of this idiocy aside, we think the ad was banned simply because it's just a really, really bad ad.
