DropYourHint Helps People Shop for Mother's Day

Wait, what? It's Mother's Day again? Yes. It's that time of year again when Dads and kids typically struggle with just what to get for their wives and mothers - and when Mom works on her best "Gee, thanks, I love it" face. But not this year. Mom and online publishing veteran, Marile Borden, saw an opportunity for Moms to be a conduit between the brands and gifts they love, and the people who typically buy for them. The result? DropYourHint.com, a website that helps Mom drop clever hints to her family via email and social media which, of course, helps Dads and kids act on those hints.

Here's how it works: Mom visits DropYourHint.com and chooses the type of gift that she would like - anything from wine to spa treatments to jewelry to a clean house. DropYourHint.com then creates a customized "hint" which they will deliver via email, Facebook or print out to specified loved ones. The hints come with relevant special offers from retailers like The California Wine Club, SpaFinder or Gemvara.com that make it easy for Dad or the kids to purchase that perfect gift.

Borden, who is also founder of Momicillin.com and MomsWhoNeedWine.com, said, "I realized that Moms often have strong connections with particular brands, products and services - but that those connections were often lost on the families. If we could help facilitate those connections for gift-giving occasions such as Mothers Day, than everybody would win."

DropYourHint.com goes live on April 26th and will continue to take Mothers Day hint requests through the holiday, Sunday, May 8th.
