return_of_the_king_clydesdales_600.jpg

Anheuser-Busch is one of the few brands that hasn't released its commercials before game time. But we can tell you a few things about what to expect. The brand will air six ads during the dame. Two, Factory and Work (both for Bud Light Premium) will air in the first quarter. Two, Return of the King (Budweiser) and Secret Spot (Bud Light) will air in the second. Eternal Optimism (Budweiser) will air in the third. And Rescue Dod (Bud Light) will air in the fourth.

If Only Getting Laid Where This Easy

teleflora_sb_2012.jpg

If Ariana Lima is to be believed in this Teleflora Super Bowl commercial, getting laid by a hottie like Lima...or, more likely, your spouse, partner or otherwise...is as easy as giving a bouquet of flowers. Lima seductively coos to the camera, "Guys, Valentine's Day isn't that complicated. Give and you shall receive." Like anything portrayed in advertising, things are not always what they seem.

Kids Toys Marketed on Liquor Bottles

spoof_baby_bottle_liquor_brands.jpg

Yes, this is a spoof. No self respecting company making stuff for kids would stoop to this tactic nor would any liquor brand stand for it. Nonetheless, it's a humorous brand mashup we can all chuckle over for a few minutes in between our Super Bowl obsessions.

Thanks George.

GE Super Bowl Ads Leave Silliness to Other Brands

ge_power_beer_sb_2012.jpg

GE will likely be one of the few advertisers in the Super bowl that doesn't go for the silly, the stupid and the plain idiotic. No, GE, with two :45's, will, instead, focus on worker pride, legacy and good old Made in America spirit. One of the spots, Power and Beer turns into an ad for Budweiser at the end. It touches on the GE power turbines that provide the juice Budweiser needs to manufacture its beer.

It'll be a nice break from the game's usual silliness.

Samsung Helps Prevent Adrants From Becoming A Traumatized School Girl

samgsung_galaxy_note_sb_2011.jpg

Tease, tease, tease. Or reverse tease. It's the theme this year when it comes to the release of Super Bowl commercials in advance of the game. If a brand hasn't already released the full version of their ad - about 15 have - then they've either released a teaser or - a new strategy this year - a long form version of what they plan to air.

Samsung, which plans to air a :90 touting the Galaxy Note in the game has released a :45 teaser to build anticipation. The spot follows Samgsung's current strategy of poking fun at iPhone/iPad-loving hipsters waiting in line for the next greatest Apple release. In the spot, after focusing on the lament those have in line for the new device they were hoping was going to be cooler than it is, one hipster says, "Woah, woah, woah, woah," and points towards what will certainly be some hot chick or another hipster holding the new Galaxy Note.

Kia Gives Us Motley Crew, Rhino Riding, Bikini Babes, Giant Sandwich

kia_sb_2011_lima.jpg

Well, what can we say about the Kia Super Bowl spot? It's one of the more WTF-inducing commercials we've seen in a while but, hey, it's a dream sequence! Yes, a dream sequence. After a sandman sprinkles a little pixie dust on a sleeping woman and sets her off on a quaint fairy tale, the guy next to her gets a little too much pixie dust sprinkled on him and all of a sudden there's Adriana Lima and an entire stadium full of bikini-clad fans professing their love for him as he drives buy.

Oh and let's not over look Motley Crew, rhino bullriding, Chuck Liddell and a giant submarine sandwich lumberjack competition.
