New York Daily News Featured in Bravo Reality Series »
The editorial staff of the New York Daily News should get ready for their close ups.
The daily tab will be the subject of a new reality program (all typing, all day) produced by Bravo and Hearst Entertainment appropriately called, "The Daily News." Six one-hour episodes are slated to air on Bravo in late 2005 or early 2006.
"Nobody has done a dramatic series set in the [journalism] field," said Bruce Paisner, president of Hearst Entertainment.
As for why the Daily News is the newspaper of choice: It's located in a major metropolitan area and it's locked in a newspaper battle with arch rival tab, the New York Post.
