I love advertising and marketing. I've spent years on the agency side in several areas including media, account management and new business. Now much of my time is spent consulting and publishing Adrants, an online publication covering marketing, advertising and social media. Along with founding and publishing Adrants, I co-founded the online marketing site MarketingVOX. I also co-founded and currently contribute to the ad:tech weblog, founded AdGabber, a social networking site for the advertising industry, contribute to Playboy's The Smoking Jacket and perform event photography for ad:tech, Affiliate Summit, LeadsCon, DailyDealSummit, The Singularity Summit and others.

Steve has written about and spoken for industry associations on topics such as the advertising's role in consumer-controlled media, the integration of public relations and advertising, the future convergence of media, the rise of social media and the decline of traditional media. Along with publishing Adrants, Steve co-founded MarketingVOX, an online marketing publication and is co-founder and contributor to the ad:tech industry trade show weblog. In early 2007, he founded the advertising social networking site, AdGabber. Additionally, he contributes a column about advertising to Playboy's The Smoking Jacket.
