Apparently, Brooke Burke didn't have a non compete clause in her agreement with Burger King and Crispin Porter + Bogusky as indicated by these images of her entering and leaving a McDonald's.
Or, according to a Buzznet editor, these images may simply be a twisted continuation of the Burger King Brooke Burke photo viral. The editor tells us, "The 'boink' galleries where the Brooke Burke pics are posted seem to be owned by someone who is 'in the industry' PR-wise. The person/company behind 'boink' tends to have a lot of pics that end up being widely available but they really seem to have them first. There's a couple other galleries like 'boink' at buzznet that could be the same person but are posting promotional photos of bands, etc." We'll keep you updated.
Having just won the silver medal for the halfpipe in this week's Torino Olympics, Gretchen Bleiler's phone has, no doubt, begun ringing with calls from marketers salivating over her potential to cause drooling desire for their products and make cash registers ring. After missing her chance in 2002, Bleiler made her comeback this year and is sure to be marketing's poster girl for at least for a few months following the games. Her FHM spread, though old, will, no doubt, keep the awareness of men up long enough for marketers to satisfy the need.
Perhaps in an effort to dispel their dowdy look and to get fashion critic Richard Blackwell to lay off dissing the pair, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have signed a deal with designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka to represent the label in an upcoming ad campaign. The ads, photographed by Gilles Bensimon in the Presidential Suite of the St. Regis Hotel in Manhattan,, will grace the pages of Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle and InStyle beginning with April issues. The collection is said to be a bit more colorful then the sister's usually drab outerwear.
Earlier, we reported food-challenged Nicole Richie would be handing out cans of Dr. Pepper on Valentine's Day in New York. Yesterday she did just that and our roving man of all things important, Bucky Turco, got his can of Dr. Pepper from Richie, handed her a "Save Krucoff, Fuck Conde Nast" pin and filmed the whole thing. Take a look at the video over at Gawker and a video of photographers celebu-lusting for a perfect shot.

In a perfect tie-in with the movie's likely audience, American Pie wannabe Date Movie is getting comical promotion with Pimp My Profile a site on which visitors can have Tony Cox review one's MySpace profile, receive wise-ass criticism and have Tony give it a makeover worthy of a blinged-out Geocities site complete with a brace-faced Allison Hannigan. Interestingly, it appears you gave have Tony pimp any MySpace users profile simply by entering their MySPace ID. While some of Tony's comments are specific to an individual's profile, it seems, sadly, the end result is the same in all cases. We tried quite a few. We did, however, get a big kick out of the promotion's brazen acknowledgment of the site's tantalizing attraction to stalkers, currently a hot item in the news.
