Whatever You Do in Bed, Sealy Supports It

You might not initially think of a mattress as a focal point of your life's intimate (and, no, we don't mean sex) family moments but if you stop and think for a minute, we think you'll come up with a precious moment or two that took place on your mattress.

That's the focus of this very different mattress ad for Sealy created by LA-based Arcana Academy. Taking the brand's 'Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports It' campaign into new emotional territory, the spot recounts the story of a family moving across the country. When they hit a bump in the road, the mattress flies off the back of their moving track and the seminal moments in lives flash before viewers' eyes.

It's quite touching actually.

Sports Drink Maker Does DollarShaveClub Ad

OK, so it's not a shot for shot "homage" of DollarShaveClub's ad but it's the same concept; founder wanders through low key office/warehouse talking about the wonders of the product while dropping witty reparte and passing by randomly weird situations.

In this ad, Skratch Labs (wacky name for a sports drink company) co-founder Aaron delivers the very DollarShaveClub-like message that's all down homey and touts the brand's focus on natural ingredients.

We suppose everything is ultimately a copy of something else so to complain is really just a waste of breath, right?

Andy Richter, Alien Attack Featured in New Lottery Ads

Two witty new New York Lottery spots from DDB NY continue the brand's "Yea, that kind of rich" theme. In one spot, we see a guy spouting off brilliant humor. Thing is, it's not his own humor. He's rich enough to afford Andy Richter and a room full of writers to feed him jokes through a microphone.

In another spot, one rich friend pulls a very elaborate prank on a friend. He leads his friend to believe the city is under attack by aliens...all just to get a picture of his horrified friend.

Yea, that kind of rich.

Delissio Pizza Will Knock the Mormon Out of You

OK, OK, so maybe assuming the family in this Delissio pizza commercial are Mormon is blatantly stereotypical but the headline kind of wrote itself so we went with it. Complaints are welcome in comments.

Anyway, in the commercial, created by DraftFCB Toronto, a mom serves Delissio pizza for dinner. The family then imagines what their less-drab life might be like if it were fueled by Delissio pizza. All manner of excitable family togetherness ensues including mom getting a tramp stamp.

Back to reality...and dad decides to "forbid this wheel of temptation." Your loss, dad. Mom's non-Mormon look is kind of hot.

Working with a52 and Rock Paper Scissors, twofifteenmccann created this beautiful spot for Nescafe which relates perfectly to the busy world in which we all live. Delivering a contemporary version of the message within Harry Chapin's classic Cats in the Cradle, the Spanish language commercial examines all the beautiful things a man could experience if only he took the time to do so.

And, it seems, all one needs to do to find this time as grab a cup of Nescafe and sit down with Dad in a cafe.

Disney-Like Soundtrack + Bikini-Clad Model = Fruit Drink Ad

With a soundtrack that plays very much like a tune from the latest Disney pop star, this work from Israeli agency Reuveni Pridan IPG for fruit drink Yafora Tavori is all fun and frivolity...complete with a red-headed beauty in a bikini swimming with fish.

And somehow the notion of fish and salt water connotes a fruit drink that actually tastes good.
