nescafe1.jpg

Working with a52 and Rock Paper Scissors, twofifteenmccann created this beautiful spot for Nescafe which relates perfectly to the busy world in which we all live. Delivering a contemporary version of the message within Harry Chapin's classic Cats in the Cradle, the Spanish language commercial examines all the beautiful things a man could experience if only he took the time to do so.

And, it seems, all one needs to do to find this time as grab a cup of Nescafe and sit down with Dad in a cafe.

Disney-Like Soundtrack + Bikini-Clad Model = Fruit Drink Ad

yafora_tavori_bikini_swim.png

With a soundtrack that plays very much like a tune from the latest Disney pop star, this work from Israeli agency Reuveni Pridan IPG for fruit drink Yafora Tavori is all fun and frivolity...complete with a red-headed beauty in a bikini swimming with fish.

And somehow the notion of fish and salt water connotes a fruit drink that actually tastes good.

Mrs. Claus Gives Santa A Racy Video

santa_mrs_claus_samsung.png

Following the Samsung Galaxy S III commercial in which a wife sends her husband a racy video as he leaves for a business trip, the brand is out with a holiday-themed version. Upon leaving to deliver presents Christmas eve, the elves offer Santa something to watch during his sleigh ride. Then Santa's wife offers up a video and says, "you probably shouldn't watch it on the sleigh."

Both commercials, of course, promote the phone's ability to send videos from one phone to another by touching them. Hmm. Sort of like the iPhone Bump app has been doing for about five years.

Cisco Predicts Power of Internet Ten Years Too Late

cisco_tomorrow_starts_here.png

We don't mean to be nasty or anything or rap some knuckles like an old school teacher might do but, really, Cisco? Really? Cisco is changing its tagline from Human Network to Tomorrow Start Here and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners is helping them do so.

A new commercial, which touts how the internet has and will interconnect all of us, plays like it could have aired in 1998 at the cusp of the internet boom. Now granted, we were a bit obsessed with idiotic ideas like Flooz, Boo, iSmell, CueCat and iLoo but even in 1998, the internet pretty much already connected everything.
