ABC Goes Dark on Affiliates

Not only did Peter Jennings show up late for work on the eve of the war but the network also left its affiliates with several minutes of nothing but a black screen to show. Not too good if you are trying to get people to watch your network. And with war going on, who's going to sit around staring at a black screen before they change to another network. Not good.
