Parent Group Proliferates Paris 'Porn' Commercial

paris-mouthful.jpg

When will people learn. If you don't like something and you want it to go away, don't say anything. Certainly don't make comments you know will get picked up by every major publication in the world thereby destroying the strategy you set out to accomplish. Obviously when Television Council research Director Melissa Caldwell's Mom said "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all," Melissa wasn't listening. Nope. She had to go open her big mouth to complain about the Car's Jr. Paris Hilton commercial saying, "This commercial is basically soft-core porn It's inappropriate for television." If Caldwell didn't realize that comment would get every media outlet, including this one to, once again, wag our tongues and drooling even more publicity all over Miss Hilton and Carl's Jr., well, then, she needs to go to her room until she can say something nice.

To help Melissa's cause so that we all know what we're not supposed to see, here's another link to the "soft-core porn" commercial.

How often have these asswipes ever had sex while eating food? Are they a race of George Castanzas?

I hate, absolutely despise, Carl's Jr. or Hardy's or whatever the f--k they are, commercials.

False Advertising in the Extreme.

The buttholes who do Hardy's advertising television commercials are total idiots. It's repulsive to watch a fit, thin, sexy woman eat a whopper big carl triple slab animal-death burger.

Meat eaters deserve colon cancer. And so do the Ad Agencies.

Man...sounds like someone pissed in his cheerios!

I tend to agree (however, not to that degree). Seems like a rather "odd" mix. It's like having Bob Denver doing a spot for Ball Park franks.

Brilliant. You're dead on. You are only feeding the fire by making a big huff. A great case for the rebirth of irony...

Hey, shouldn't she be doing a SLURPEES ad? Why would Carl's Jr. take a perfectly great tasting hamburger and tie it to Paris, who's a total non-entity with no taste? Go figure.

I agree with every statement above. What's the big concern here?

Please remember....Ms. Caldwell is an anointed one. She decides EVERYTHING that is appropriate for every other human being to see. Be very scared of these individuals.

Was this ad pornography? Its irrelevant because Ms. Caldwell’s COUNCIL…..has ruled that it is. When you’re able to define the "CORE" of your pornography… like Melissa Caldwell has done for all of us graciously....If the word pornography is still in the description like "soft-core pornography"....It will ALWAYS be PORNOGRAPHY.

I feel so lucky to have Melissa Caldwell out on the front lines of all the different "CORES" of pornography. "This commercial is basically soft-core porn. It's inappropriate for television." Says Television Council Research Director Melissa Caldwell

The amazing COUNCIL RESEARCH that takes place to understand all the many forms of pornography or sexual connotation that she (being the anointed one....by the way she anointed herself)...she will make the decision as to BAN FOREVER an ad placement being sent out on a TV transmission.

Ms. Caldwell...your days as a righteous television deity are numbered. Humans will watch anything they want at anytime, anywhere, any "CORE" that they choose to dial up.

Remember….my fellow ad whores…...be very scared of the anointed ones. One day they will decide whether we live or die. ……ideas from John Stolsels new book

You know what's wrong with this ad? It sucks. So lame, and Paris Hilton is a media star now. They're even making tribute sites to her, gross,

I think that this commercial is undeniably vulgar and indecent. Why must BBQ objectify a woman in order to sell a stupid burger? That is undoubtedly superficial, uncreative and dishonorable. I am sure that the advertiser would immediately object if his/ her daughter were to even dream about doing a similar commercial. Why not stop trying to satisfy your lustful desires and treat women with more respect. The idea behind advertising is, understandably, to ‘make money’ and, to some extent, entertain the public. However, is it wise to sell a product without taking into consideration the values that the advertiser (I hope) embraces dearly? Come On! What he is doing, is selling the Commercial and Not the Burger. This commercial has ultimately crossed the boundaries, and is a reflection of utter idiocy. Paris also shares the blame, for approving the commercial and being in it.Why doesn’t she get a life?

This commercial is doing what every other commercial strives to do. Sell!! If you think that this Paris Hilton commercial isn't going to generate a lot of revenue you are sadly mistaken. Now, with that being said, I do think that they may have pushed the envelope a little too far. However, this is by no means soft-core pornography. It is insane to even think that it would be. And to the poster who ranted about respect for woman, sell crazy somewhere else!!

This girl is truly void of a soul. She terrifies me, and many other parents, because she has so much influence over the young girls that are teen, and pre-teen, who are developing concepts of what the world is or should be. The message she sends is so un-healthy and wickedly perverse, she may posssibly, single handedly, ruin a whole generation of young peoples values and morals.

God help us. Her depravity just keeps sinking lower and lower, while her fame gets higher and higher.

She reminds me of a cancer that gets stronger as it gets more ugly and destructive.

Call me a prude, or whatever, I was not always like this, not until it has become so blatant, even I have to see it, and admit to it!

Good Luck… we need it.

I know Hollywood and investors look for people who will reel in the money. But is is distasteful when they use an untalented stupid girl like Paris Hilton who has become more famous since her porn tape was exposed. What is the point anymore for anyone trying to get into the entertainment industry? It is on it's way down. You have to be born into it or know someone. OR, make a hot porn tape like Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson Lee did! Carl Jr burgers, I will never eat your burgers again. First of all, you don't promote good health and 2nd, your using Paris Hilton? I am cancelling my cable and making sure my kids don't see this trash! Shame on you!

Carl's Jr. has sunk to the lowest with the Paris Hilton commercial. Have your sales suffered so badly that you engage porn to sell your food?
I will NEVER frequent, nor allow my family, to eat at Carl's Jr. ever again.
I am confident that other food chains will not follow in your decadent foot steps.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at a Carl's Junior Advertising meeting. "either we will go with a girl who thinks she is in middle school, or we will use the old standby, loud chewing and swallowing sounds while someone licks ketchup off their fingers" yeah good idea.
