Capitalizing on a three year old movie, Covad has launched "
The Ringing," a spoof on the movie
The Ring with telephone equipment designed to scare the crap out of office workers so they switch to Covad equipment. It's fairly amusing even if a few years late.

The "theringmovie.com" link seems to go to a search engine site.
The right URL would be:
http://www.theringingmovie.com/movie.shtml
was it coincidence that Covad called me two hours
after I visited it? I am the person showing up in 'whois'
for our IP. Would make allot of sense, if their tele-marketers
would harvest contacts via the IP addresses that hit their site.
The clip itself I found not that great. But that's just me.
