Golden Palace Makes Olympic Closing Ceremony Appearance
A Canadian Olympics viewer watching the closing ceremonies on the country's CBC network saw the Golden Palace casino make another Olympic appearance. The first was during a men's curling event. Reportedly, a Golden Palace t-shirt-clad man appeared on stage alongside the Italian Olympic Chairman as he was speaking during the closing ceremony. While it may be tough, it's likely this guy will be edited out by the time the broadcast airs in America. Not that he achieved much as the Golden Palace logo wasn't completely visible during his appearance.
Nope. They showed it here in the States.
Great. They can stop Al Qaida, but Golden Palace gets through. I feel so much safer now.
He still ran on during the LIVE broadcast on USA television!!!! I was completely suprised. What if this was a terrorist?
That's what that was?! I didn't understand a word he said and I couldn't read the shirt. I told my mom, "some guy ran up and babbled something in Italian or something."
This was the second time Golden Palace Made its debut at Turin. I was searching Great Britian's medal at the games and there were pictures of a streaker with Golden Palace Com on his back and chest during mens curling of USA vs Great Britian.
They didn't even edit him out on the overnight repeat. I caught "Golden" as the first word, "...ace" of the second and just the "o" of the last word, turned to my husband and said "They did it again".
Hope it was worth it for GPC since now they're going to have to cough up that guy's bail money. Oh, the court system is slooooowwww in Italy.
Where can I find the video for this? I want to add it to my site http://www.viralhq.com
A Golden Palace guy was also in the speed skating arena right along the edge of the rink in full view at the starts. Very surprised NBC didn't try to move the guy or edit out the podium rushing guy in the taped broadcast of the closing ceremony.
does anyone know how GP works out these deals...surprised they're not fined for being complicit.
It was a bush league move by GP. Wonder if they would have thought it was worth it if the guy got shot running for the stage.
I was thinking the same thing as "makethelogobigger". Perhaps I'm a horrible person, but it was such a stupid stunt that he almost would have deserved it.
For the record GP signs were visible during most of the speed skating events -- and this was not edited out on the West coast feed either.
