Professional Bull Riders Is Not PBR

contest_pbr_01.jpg

If we were writing a press release for our client Amp'd Mobile and we were talking about how the company was the official sponsor of the Professional Bull Riders and the client would be simalcasting events to Amp'd Mobile customers, we probobly wouldn't refer to the Professional Bull Riders Association as PBR unless the sponsorship also involved the actual PBR - Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Even if the client insisted. Just a thought.

As a long time rodeo fan and one time rodeo announcer they are right on target if it's the bull riding fan they are trying to reach. The rodeo fan, and the contestants know P.B.R. stands for Professional Bull Riders, not beer.

Ummmmm, actually, you're wrong. The PBR...that is the Professional Bull Riders...is well known, and well established out here in the fly-over states...where the trendiness of a crappy beer is lost on us hicks.

If you think I'm wrong...ask Anhueser-Busch, Dickies & Crown Royal about the PBR...they know what they're doing.

Cheers.

I agree with Roy. People who would be interested in bull riding know PBR. Additionally, I've never heard of Pabst Blue Ribbon referred to as PBR; it must be a regional thing.

The target knows what they are talking about and has known for years....no news here or anything to get your panties in a bunch
