Land Rover Hits the Desert For LR3

Young & Rubicam Brands along with directors The Croneweths have created three spots for Land Rover LR3. In one of the spots, Spinning Accolades, the vehicle is shown driving across the El Dorado Dry Lake Bed near Las Vegas traversing its way around large blocks of type praising the vehicle. It just may get the message across more clearly than the usual sleep-inducing baritone announcer.

Now I like this one! I had no trouble watching all of it and I knew from the start what the product was. A lot better then the normal run of the mill car/truck commercial.

And how cool is it that they are using the Sonics tune "Have Love Will Travel"?! Arguably the most killer rock and roll cover tunes ever recorded.

And what's the point of having a LR3 if you're only going to drive it on salt flats? I mean, if the "fastest saloon car on the planet" can drive there then of course a LR3 can handle it...
