Women Forcefully Arrested In Vogue Italia Pictorial

vogue_otalia_police.jpg

Ever vigil for sexual imagery in any form, Shake Well Before Use directs our attention to a promotional pictorial for Vogue Italia that hearkens overblown, 9-11ish security. The 15 photos in the slideshow depict women in various stages of, well, arrest. Of course, this is high fashion so that trumps any sort of irate reactions in terms of political correctness ot the degradation of women for commerce

Sexy if you don't mind being forced to submit.

Bad taste, is my opinion. There's nothing sexy about that sort of violence against women.

Holy shit, what was that all about I thought to myself??? Then I read the fine Italian print and realized it was shot in LA... So, it's just another day at LAX.
Fuck, good job the skinny chick wasn't flying out of Oakland!

It is distinctive and somewhat funny in a way. But still it is " innovation"

A rip off - but hey - what's new. Watch the film Crash..

My only question is: If this is for Italy, why is the word "police" used on the car, rather than "polizia"?

As a side note...why is the cop to the left holding his pistol like that? that's jut bad form...

Mysoginist idiots. How innovative - NOT!

The shoot was done by Arial. I love all her work.
The gun is held in a awkward, ofugr way to dislimn any thoughts of gun violence. The baton is pointed at you. This ad, btw, was done for you-the ad world's peeps (imho). The polite policeman doing the requisite search, well he is totally PC. ;P

As to VMl -you have give them a nod for contributions to the community all year long.
Later this month the entire KS office is grabbing hammers, paint and nails to do the right thing in Kansas City homes ID last Christmas as in need of repairs such as new gutters, etc.

Steve, check your calendar for week after next for our reconnoiter of "NY's most engaging bartenders". Tomorrow I fly to Hawaii and I'll be in Amsterdam all next week visiting clients.

Come on, guys, I'm happy to indulge all your bouncing
booby busty substance giggles, but this is just plain
horrid.

I can only hope the girlie blondie cop comes to her
senses and turns that kalisnikov on their downton
precincts.

I am disappointed in you, mon braves. Lust yes Hurt no

Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!!! Every girl's soft-core S&M fantasy come true. On yer knees @#$^& and a bit of hair-pulling by men in uniform...It's a shame they didn't use real Italian cops though. Are you sure this was for Vogue Italia, and not S&M Monthly?

The foot-stomping of a woman wearing a red satin Valentino is indefensible and imho should be dited out.

I'm over a month late, but the real pictorial in the mag icludes shots of the gals training with weapons and using the weapons in action. although we don't get to see the targets - presumably the police. So more than meets the eye here, although the notion of hig-fashion guerilleras/terroristas is a bit far-fetched.
