Degree Adds Depth to the Little Black Dress
We dig this series of ads, which are part of Degree's "Little Black Dress Approved" campaign. Aside from the obvious reasons, like the fact they can take this in so many more directions than they could have with the Audrey Hepburn prototype alone, we think the sari girl is hot and we have never seen an Amish woman. Since when do Amish women wear makeup and allow pictures of themselves for commercial ads? I do like the concept, just the one seems out of place.
I like this simple clean approach---but I'm not the target. My wife likes the TV versions that made me go Blah, disgusting! --which prompted her retort, ,"you are not the target, I am, puntuated with an extended tongue and smirk."

I like these a lot. They seem so.. I don't know.. calm..? Maybe elegant is the right word. If I were flipping through a magazine they'd definitely stand out.
The woman in the third ad definitely isn't Amish. Way too much lace on that dress; the Amish aren't even allowed to wear buttons. Maybe they were going for Mennonite. :)
I think sometimes polished and refined noses may hold their noses at the scent of human hard work and toil. Maybe that is why they included the Amish.
I hope not.
As for Mennonites, the group that lived in our town wore gingham.
Not Amish. These are traditional Sarees wore in India.
