Nike Breathes Its Way Into Beat Box Commercial

nike_breath.jpg

If you like beat boxing, you'll like this new commercial from Nike where athletes' breathing takes on rhythmic form and becomes a creation unto itself. The ad was created by Wieden + Kennedy Shanghai and produced by HSI in Culver City, CA. Not much else to say other than watch.

Really nice film. I was wondering if, someday, children will dream about "when i grow up, i want to work producing Nike videos". They are amazing, all of them!

Nothing like as good as previous Nike football adverts. Who can forget the ground-breaking 'Good vs. Evil' from the 90's, or the brilliant 'Secret Tournament' and 'Team Ninja' pieces.

This advert just doesn't come up to the same standard...

I would expect more from Nike and Wieden. This is the same idea that they executed a few years back that was only basketball players and had the shoe squeaks and dribble sounds making up the soundtrack. Come on guys. You're better than that.
