'Hairy Lollipop Smoke. Don't Breathe This.'

dibs-lollipops.jpg

This Dibs commercial depicts the giant lollipop's fall from grace. It starts out a snack food, becomes a hair remover, and ultimately ends life as blender fodder. Its sad descent is meant to highlight Dibs' desirability.

The ad also includes guest appearances from the "Will It Blend?" guy and some dude from ER.

Steve loves likes this spot (albeit under the gentle influence of vodka and caffeine). I feel sort of nauseous: I'm at a cafe, and there are blenders, and something in the air really does smell like hairy lollipop smoke. But maybe that's just burnt coffee.

I love this commercial? Hmm. I must have had too much vodka mixed with my coffee that morning.

Okay, you said "I like it." But then you went on about it for five more sentences or something, so I took that to mean you LOVED it.

Hmm...must have been in a coma then:-) Oh it's not that bad. Besides, it's go the ER geek!

Indeed, I will be one of the last few remaining people watching ER as they someday end it with a predictably sappy ending. But I'll be there fondly remembering the glory day of George Clooney, Anthony Edwards, Sherry Stringfield, Eriq La Salle, Julianna Margulies and Noah Wyle.

Oh, and far from the best cliffhanger ER ever did, when Dr. Romano had his arm suddenly chopped off by the rear blade of a helicopter on the top of the hospital's roof, last night an ambulance exploded as one of the very major characters walked by. Not saying who for the other three people out there who may not have seen the episode yet.

I feel disturbed by your intimacy with ER. But it's probably good conversation fodder. Whenever I try talking to people about the Buffy-verse, they don't even pretend they're not trying to leave me hanging.
