Boys Will Be Boys And Boys Will Get What Boys Deserve

OK. Guy with acquired class along with hot girl enters Ritz Carlton pool. Guy with born and bred class approaches and the one up-manship begins. Both men devolve, as many men do where a beautiful woman is concerned, into classless buffoons. In the end, the right one wins.

It's the next "film" in a series from the Ritz Carlton and American Express.

The actress is TERRIBLE. The American guy isn't much better. Lousy "film."

This film is TERRIBLE. Talk about de-classing your brand.

who are they trying to appeal too? Insecure, fantasy driven, 16 year old boys? Hardly their target audience - an "embarrassing miss"

Developing brands is our business and usually American Express and the Ritz Carlton are held up as classic examples of what a successful brand looks like ... until now.

WOW ... this film singlehandedly knocked both of these brands off the pedestal I'd put them on for years ... I will now use this as an example of what not to do... too bad.

I forced myself to watch the whole thing. In the end, the woman plays both of the men for fools and steals their "toys". I don't know if that's supposed to be empowerment or insulting. In the end, I guess the characters can be summarized thusly:

American man = Hardscrabble roots, facade of sophistication, avaricious at core
British man = Snob, sophisticated but not quite sophisticated enough, a poor loser
American woman = Deceitful, manipulative, shallow

None of which makes me want to stay at the Ritz or become an Amex member.
