Hammer Pants Flash Mob Molests Skinny Jeans Buyers

We literally choked on our Juicy Juice when we saw this guerrilla effort for Hammertime, a new A&E show that follows the family life of MC Hammer -- kinda like Run's House.

"Each week we'll open our home to viewers to showcase the hectic pace of our lives and our eclectic family; our real life truly is drama," said MC Hammer, who apparently thinks drama is a marvel unique to his universe.

The hip-hop star-cum-evangelist-pastor is also working on a social media site and iPhone application. And if you're not already following it, his Twitter account generates much love.

We have faith in that the Hammer still knows how to wow. To spark buzz for the show at a modish shop on Sunset, a bunch of people randomly burst in with bling-ass genie pants and started dancing to U Can't Touch This, the single that made the man a legend. What's funny is that the invasion is so forceful, so sudden, that people actually start running away. Then the violent pelvic thrusting starts, and ... well ... hell breaketh loose.

Hammertime debuts later this year. Catch it if you can manage to tear yourself away from those endless Keeping up with the Kardashians marathons. More on the effort here.
