Anna Nicole Smith Dies of Drug Cocktail. Did You Really Not Know That?

anna_autopsy.jpg

We're not sure why Anna Nicole Smith's death continues to monopolize our breaking news. We never had anything against her, but we're starting to feel mildly resentful. Is there really nothing else more critical than ANS's autopsy results happening in the world?

Come on, America.

This reminds me of when the last Pope died. The spectacle went on for months. If the media is just giving us what we want...then we truly are a shallow culture.

Angela...
C'mon, the news media has to get its priorities right. I was watching CNN on Friday when they had a news flash that the 15 British sailors had been captured by Iran. In the middle of the piece they said we have to go to a breaking story... Turns out it was a news confernce on the tainted pet food thing... Ya gotta get your priorities right here. Fido is more important than the possible outbreak of World War III.

George,

Not to contradict your priorities here. I don't watch the news so I rarely get outraged about the coverage.

I lived on the continent for a few years a couple times, but i first got to England last fall. Your native land had many very extremely well done memorials to all kinds of peoples who have died in wars. Then I saw a large memorial done to commemorate animals who died in war. I guess we are all on this earth together.

You know when I decided I couldn't be in this country anymore? When "Arrested Development" got cancelled and "American Idol" lived on. Fuck you, motherland.
