What Is Southern Comfort? It's New Orleans' Savior

If you ever wanted to know everything there is to know about New Orleans - well, an overly stereotypical version of the place - you need look no further than these new commercials from Southern Comfort created by Arnold Worldwide.

Explaining the campaign in words spoon fed to him from the PR department, Southern COmfort Global Brand Director Mike Isaac read...uh...sorry...said, "These spots represent the come-one, come-all inclusionary attitude of New Orleans, one that is representative of Southern Comfort. The melting pot of cultures in the city also hits on Southern Comfort as one of the most versatile spirits available behind the bar. The spirit has the ability to adapt to almost any drinking occasion, whether it's in the SoCo Teaser (with Sweet Tea) and SoCo Pleaser (with Lemonade) served at the rooftop party in New York City or in a Hurricane on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras in New Orleans."

Doesn't everyone use parenthesis when they speak?

It's all a good thing though. New Orleans needs all the help it can get. Maybe people will even visit the place again. Anyway, you can view one of the spots here.

The campaign includes television (Hulu), cinema, online, social media, print and radio.
