Super Bowl: GoDaddy Teases, Victoria's Secret Commits, Hyundai May Pull

2008-Super-Bowl-XLII.jpg

OK, here we go. It's Super Bowl time. As usual, we have GoDaddy foisting upon us its now very tired "boo hoo, FOX banned our commercial" routine. This time, it's over the word "beaver." Damn, it's like an eighties teen flick all over again. And all of this comes after CEO Bob Parsons said a while back they might not even appear in the game so who knows what the hell to expect from they. Our guess is they'll tease us with these "banned spots" right up until game day when they announce they won't be appearing during the game. Of course, we hope that's not the case.

Next, we have Victoria's Secret gearing up for Valentine's Day with a holiday promotion Super Bowl spot in the game featuring VS model Ariana Lima along with Karolina Kurkova and Selita Ebanks. It will be the lingerie maker's first appearance in the game since 1999.

In a more depressing turn, we have Hyundai indicating it may pull the two :30's it committed to back in October citing a downturn in the economy. Pleas, please, please. We are not looking forward to writing that phrase over and over again. As reported in Automotive News, Hyundai spokesman Chris Hosford said, "We are reviewing whether or not we want to advertise on the Super Bowl."

Oh Daddy! http://JoeAmerica.org has posted the Victoria Secret Promo and I think GoDaddy's "Not so Skinny" (as Bob Parsons has said) Girls might just just not compete well for the Sexy Ad. In fact did they ever, they just got the SPIN FACTOR going and Fox Network should know all about SPIN!

Remember the Miami Bikini Joes Ad that he did for GoDaddy, the girls were maybe a little to young and hot for Candice or Bob and only ran on low grade shows like the Fishing Network. Next year GoDaddy might just try to loose the TNA idea and get on tract again. The first year was cool, the second year "warmed over" last year NAW! this year...the year the loose change (Millions) got blown up.

During holidays, you will feel eating more and affording healthy groceries is always a struggle. I assure you that payday loan is a great resource. I know that after watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last night, I definitely don’t feel like eating more food; I feel like eating more healthy food. Those girls are downright gorgeous. Of course, I’ll never have the body of a super model, but their flat abs and long, lean legs definitely motivated me to get in better shape. I know I can eat healthier and exercise more frequently. Not only will I look better, I know I will feel better, too. It’s amazing how quickly you forget how good it feels to be in shape. Sitting on the couch after a long day instead of heading to the gym feels awesome, until you do it for two or three weeks in a row. Then, your laziness starts to catch up with you. Eating right and staying in shape can be expensive. Like I said, those grocery bills and gym membership fees definitely add up. However, the costs are certainly worth it. Taking care of yourself now will pay off later. Investing in your health will save you the trouble of serious health problems down the road. Not only can serious health problems be a detriment to your livelihood, they can also take a toll on your finances. Doctor visits, medications, therapy, routine checkups, and all that jazz can cost thousands of dollars even if you have insurance. The moral of the story is that eating right and staying fit won’t make you a Victoria’s Secret Angel, but it is imperative to adding minutes to your life. Unfortunately, affording all the things necessary for good health, like fresh produce and lean meats, can be expensive. Payday loans are available to help you pay any bill, including the grocery bill, when you need a little extra cash in between paydays.
