Microsoft Pushes Sync with Anesthesia-Free Surgical Operation

Um, ouch? Some guy under the knife, giving feedback to the surgeons about whether or not he feels the pinch. Idea is to advocate the voice-activated Sync (now stock in Fords).

The surgery scenario was promising; otherwise that was a really dull ad. Link to follow.

I am a practicing anesthetist in Kentucky and I honestly thought the microsoft "anesthesia On" add was the funniest thing I had seen in a long time. We often joke amongst ourselves in our profession that we some times feel like we are taken for granted and that people sometimes think all have to do is flip a button or something and the patient's asleep. Seeing that commercial to me was just awesome and it actually in a lighthearted way said that we are nescessary. If there's ever an "anesthesia on" t-shirt, I want it. That was just way to funny.
